A la carte charters
We have no preset program for any of our charters. Given the different profiles of our teammates (experienced–or not sailors, kite surfers, divers, free divers, retirees, families, young crowd…), a single program is too often inadequate.
The pace, stopovers, their duration and type of activities are discussed and defined along the way. The skipper's job (who is very familiar with the area) is also to guide you on these choices, taking account of your profile, your expectations and weather forecast.
Some main outlines
The first day (when starting early morning) is often a direct sailing on Bequia, the first 'harbor' of the Grenadines, where it is mandatory to go through customs formalities. This allows to reach Grenadines quickly and be immediately in the thick of it!
A stop south of St. Lucia is always possible, to cut this first sail, sometimes a bit long for some (especially children).
The second day, it is possible to stay on Bequia to visit the island or go down to the National Park of Tobago Cays (departure before noon), essential passage in the Grenadines and always suitable to everyone. The anchorage is beautiful (80% of the photo albums 'grenadines north' and 'free diving' are taken there), the fish, turtles, rays, visible in 5 feet of water, small walks ashore, iguanas, ...
From there, it is easy to prepare a program suitable to everyone's expectations: sailings are short and a good knowledge of the area allows a large place to improvisation.
However, we can mention a few favorites moorings such as Bequia, the Tobago Cays, Mayerau, Union Island for the northern part of the Grenadines, Carriacou and White Island for the southern part, often wrongfully neglected by the charter boats (available on cruises of 9 days minimum).
On-site activities abound: swimming, snorkeling, walking tour, visit the islands and villages, free diving, etc.. Some are also paying activities offered by local organizations: rides by taxi or water taxi, diving, kayaking, beach barbecue, etc..
The return to Martinique takes one or two days, with a possible stop in St. Lucia, based on the wishes of the crew and weather conditions.
Pure happiness...
The principle is, in fact, to try to make you discover the side of the Grenadines that suits you best.
